Halloween Float Trip
Well Chad & I floated the Colorado from Pumphouse to Statebridge. We turned tons of fish but only four ate! What a great day on the river. But when is it not a great day on the river!

Colorado River
We floated the Colorado (Pumphouse to State Bridge) the other day. The weather was perfect, but the fishing was average. We turned a lot of fish but not many takes, it is getting closer. As you can see from the picture I was team Kodak. That is because I didn't land a fish worthy of a picture!! I am definitely getting better at rowing. Thanks Chad!!

Floating The Roaring Forks
Chad Sessions was kind enough to float The Roaring Fork last week. He is teaching me to row. Well I only impaled us on one rock, and did 3 360's. Not to bad for my second time rowing. The fishing was great. Chad landed a 24" sucker. We landed many 16 - 18" fish on dries. Thanks Chad.

Wind River Trip 2011
Well this Wind River Range Trip was a real tough one. We ended up hiking 64 roundtrip miles in 7 days. We had a fuzzy brown visitor. The fishing was tough! We think we got alot of snow here in Colorado, you should of seen The Wind River Range in Wyoming. We had to change our whole trip because we could not cross the river in the pictures below. More to come!!!!

The Blue. (If the Water ever comes down)
Here is a trip to the Blue a year or so ago. Story by Ed Kammerer. Chef / Owner Highland Pacific.
Story on this Fish is it took a Yellow and black Girdle Bug on the Blue.
It took 20 min to land and broke a Scott 6wt rod at the tip while netting it!
We lost the fish trying to measure him on the top of the cooler in the pictiure. We had it at about 27 to 28 " long and weighed about 12 pounds!
This fish had an atitude and were lucky we even got thid picture of it.
Thanks ED.

Earning my casts!
A couple of weeks ago I finally made my first trip to a high mountain lake. This was the definition of earning your casts. We had to use ice axes and crampons to get out! I will let the pictures speak for themselves.
