Still Some POW Days To Be Had!

Ok, this is where I go off on a little tangent and talk a little powder.  It will also be telling more about our contour cameras.  Not only do these cameras film 1080p HD Video they also track where you are, speed and elevation.  Here is a link to a video I shot March 22nd at Beaver Creek!  Click Here For Video

This camera also can be set up to shoot stills.  Here are a few from March 22nd!

To top it off here are a few pics from my iphone!

Roaring Fork Again

Well Dean and I went back to the Roaring Fork on Tues (Mar 15th).  The fishing was pretty good.  Dean had a 20+ inch rainbow on and real close to shore before he snubbed us.  I landed a 19 inch bow, on Mckitrick's Drown BWO 20.  Dean landed between 15-18 fish mostly on a 20 incher size 12.  I did pretty well with a pat's rubber legs, 10.  There were lots of midges, as you can see from the pic below.  There were a handful of BWO's fluttering around, not enough to completely key in on!!  Get Out!!

Product Review

Well here is a little product review on some fly line from Scientific Anglers.

Half-Size Heavy for Fast Action Rods

  • Texturing technology delivers low memory, improved casting and increased durability
  • Front tip section has improved floatation (Dry Tip Technology)
  • Taper designed to throw a variety of fly sizes
  • Optimized for cold to temperate water
  • Looped on both ends for quick rigging
  • Braided multifilament core, low stiffness, moderate delivery
  • SA ID: SA MTX GPX WF X F where X denotes line weight
Willow Dark Willow Tip

I love this line, it has a lot of the characteristics of sharkskin without the burn when stripping.  It casts unbelievably well, especially for the short distances we cast here in Colorado.  The retail price is $79.99, so a little less than sharkskin.  It also  stamps the size and kind of line that it is right on the line so when you take them off, you know what line it is without labeling it!!  Pretty cool!!
I would love to hear from anybody else who has used this product.
